Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Colorado

my mother michelle passed away april of 09, the will was lost when we got evicted the christmas before. i was told there is an extra copy of the will but i have contacted everyone that could have been involved. what should i do? theres still a nice amount of money in her bank account that me and my brother can not obtain without a legal document proving that we are her heirs.

If the will is lost, and a copy cannot be located, her estate must still be probated in most cases. Consult with a wills and trusts or probate attorney in your area for specifics.
