Legal Question in Personal Injury in Colorado

If I am hit by an underinsured company car, can I go after the owner of the company or just the company? What if the company has no assets?

If the driver of the car is liable for the accident, then you may be able to look to the employer for compensation. Under some circumstances, the "corporate veil" may be pierced and the owner of the corporation held responsible for corporate liabilities, but this is fairly technical to argue. You should consult with a Colorado lawyer expereinced in bringing suit against sham corporations for a personal injnury claim. The information provided to you in this answer is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice. You should consult an attorney for advice regarding your individual situation if you have further questions.
