Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Colorado

My boyfriend and I purchased a house together two years ago and both of our names are on the title. He recently moved out and initial agreed to pay half the mortgage until we can sell the house. If he decides to stop what legal rights do I have?

I assume you did not have an attorney draft a co-tenancy agreement. If there is no written agreement, and he stops paying, if you want to try to get the entire ownership or change the ownership percentage and other rights you will have to file for a partition lawsuit.

You should speak with an attorney. Good luck.
