sold home

we sold our home and between the two realestate agents and our selves gave $2,000 towards a roof on an 8 year old roof. Now buyer is coming back saying the roof is leaking and wanting us to pay. We refused. What can they do to us now?

Afternoon:

Review the contract as the form contract generally requires mediation first. It depends on the exact terms.

If there are no specific dispute resolution terms, they would have to proceed to sue you for breach of contract based on, I presume, lack of disclosure. Contact an attorney if it proceeds.
