I am the Personal Representative of an estate. Which is the most appropriate and convenient deed for me to use to sell a vacation timeshare owned by the deceased: Quitclaim Deed or Personal Representative Deed?

Re: Timeshare Sale

You will want to use a personal representatives deed. There are two forms, one for a testate estate (an estate with a will) and one for an intestate estate (where there was no will). There are times when it is advisable to obtain and record with the deed an order from the probate court authorizing the transfer in order to convey marketable title (such as when the sale is to a person with an interest in the estate.) In every case, a certified copy of the letters of administration should be recorded in the county where the property is located.
