home business exclusive use
If I set up a separate desk for my home business within the same room as my home study/computer area (no partition etc), will this qualify as exclusive use under the IRS? IRS 587 is a little vague about this.

A preliminary question is why would you bother? The resulting deductions are negligible, and the increase in IRS audit exposure is significant. Frankly, even if you could sell this, it seems like the light wouldn't be worth the candle.
