Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

The company that has my father's pension (who has passed, worked in NY retired in CO) claims there is no beneficiary so the pention will not be paid out. I have papers saying I am the beneficiary and I am the only living relative. If my father did remove me as beneficiary, is there any way that money is legally mine? What do I need to do to get it?

When a beneficiary is not designated, the benefits are generally payable to the participant's estate. For more specific answers, contact the attorney handling your father's estate.
