Who is entitle to the assets and resources in the state of Colorado?

The husband dies and does not leave a will however all his resources and assets was pass on to his spouse. The spouse now dies and does not leave a will. Can both the husband's family and the spouse family file a motion for the court to divide property etc.? Or does Colorado law state only the spouse family can do such since she died last?

The wife's estate willl probably pass pursuant to Colorado's system for intestate succession. You should hire an experienced estate lawyer to resolve further questions.
