Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

Long story short my mother just died in California. Is there any legal obligation to recover her remains that I have. Also there are four of us siblings; does my sister have to have permission from the rest of the siblings to claim the remains?

I am sorry for your loss. Start by locating your mother's documents and determine whether she left instructions. Next read her Will for the same purpose. The best way to proceed is for the siblings to be cooperating.
