Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

Mother's Will

I was the sole beneficiary in my mother's will. However, my sister has some of my late mother's possessions and will not give them to me. What can I do? I currently live in Hong Kong and the possessions, my sister, and my mother reside or resided in Colorado.

Re: Mother's Will

You should immediately proceed to hire an attorney to represent you. Hopefully any formal legal proceedings will not be necessary, but you should so proceed. Also, you should file a Demand for Notice with the estate proceedings for your Mother's estate. If necessary you can then file a Claim for the property that should pass to you.
