Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

In his will, I have been named the executor of my father's estate. However he used the initial of my first name rather than my full legal name. Example; W. John Doe rather than William John Doe. How do I file the court paperwork to apply for appointment as the personal representative and sign my name. The form requests I give my full name.

I recommend that you sign as your name appears in the Will and then add a/k/a with your full name.
