Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

Timeshare owned inside Trust

My sister & I inherited a timeshare when our parents died. The timeshare is ''owned'' by a trust of which we are co-trustees. If we dissolve the trust, what happens to the timeshare owned by the trust? Is there any way to get out of owning the timeshare? We've tried selling it but that seems impossible. Thanks.

Re: Timeshare owned inside Trust

The timeshare can be sold on the timeshare resale market. There are other options as well.

This should be no barrier to a proper closing of the trust. Check with an experienced trust attorney in your area for assistance.
