How to title a home I share with my 83 YO mom

How should Mom & I each hold title? We are buying a home together. Assuming I outlive her, if we have joint ownership will that put me at risk of losing the house? She has 3 kids altogether & wants each of us to split her estate equally. Do we need to somehow exclude the house so I don't lose it upon her death?

Also what if she needs nursing home care that exceeds her insurance? Can they confiscate that?

Go and consult with an experienced attorney in your area. Your Mother should have a separate attorney to properly represent her interests.
