Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Connecticut
I have a contract to sell my home that is in process. Due to a decision by a major creditor I believe a Chapter 13 filing is in my immediate future. How does the 13 filing effect the sales contract? Could iI complete the sale- buy something smaller - file the 13 and keep a homestead exemption?
