Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Connecticut

I have been placed on administrative leave by my employer, due to a concern on a threat made to me by an supervisor. The supervisor continues to work. In this time i have been made to go for a physc. exam, and to seek counseling which they will discuss before they allow me to return. I am the victim and the employer continues to place burden on myself and family. Can my employer do this?

Some employment disputes can be mediated to resolution without an attorney. In this case it sounds as though you very badly need a lawyer. While it is ilegal for your employers to defame you if a prospective employer calls, that does not mean it doesn't happen. We have experience with these issues and may be able to help you.
