Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Connecticut

hello,

my boyfriend and i both got charged with breach of peace cause we were arguing outside a night club and someone called the cops. we were drinking and the argument was over car keys and giving them to a friend who was sober to drive. he grabbed me by the arm to get my attention and i fell, someone i believe thought he was hurting me. What do you think the court or judge will do?

Likely he will be charged with Assault 3 and both of you will be charged with Breach of the Peace. If he is a first time offender, he may be able to get a dismissal or nollie. If he has a history of violent crimes he will be met with more difficulty and may have to plea it down. You may be able to give a statement to victims advocate that will help or hurt his case.
