Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Connecticut

My son passed away 3 years ago i recieved 300000. in a lawsuit, out of the blue some young man that used to live downstairs from me back in the 80's I was 20 he was 14 filed a lawsuit against me saying he had sex with me and wanted 300000. i handed all the info to my attorney ( it has been 2 years in november this has been stagnet. what can i expect. this man is a known drug addict and has his own web site and radio station where he states he is a recoverd drug addict. He is not a very nice person and back when he was 14 he was thrown out of summer camp for smoking pot, which he was delusional back then as well. what is my next step, he has at least 3 times not shown up for his depositions how long can this go on. please help me I am ready to loose my mind over this the lawsuit he filed was civil only not criminal

Perhaps the statute of limitation has passed. How long ago did the alleged event occur? Assuming you win on this matter you can go after him for vexatious litigation. Without more details it is very difficult to offer you more advise. Consult further with your lawyer.
