Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Connecticut

Unfair Court System

My brother had a warrant out for his arest for suposivley hitting his wife. They got back together 3 days after she pressed charges on him. So they went to my mothers house and stayed there for a few weeks. She took my moms credit card. She used the credit card. my mom called the police. They came to the house and ask my brothers wife if she stole the credit card. She said no. The police officer found the card in her purse, she stated my mother gave her permission to use it, wich my mom did not. She didn't get arested. she was trying to get my brother arested for hitting her that day too she said while my mom was in the car he hit her. My mom said it never happend, the cop believed my brothers wife was lying. My brother ended up getting arested on March 23,2004 for the warrant. They tranfered him to the police station in wich issued the warrant. My brother stayed over night and went to court the next day and got a PTA, Just yesturday April 07, 2004 he was arested again for suposively hitting her on March 24th. The judge made him stay in jail not even mentioning this fact.It never happened that day because he was in court. Can't they see she is a lyer? Why is he in jail if he was in court the day he suposivley hit her.
