Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Connecticut

My husband just received a Bank Execution on his personal bank account for a credit card debt judgement against him. The amount in his account wasn't nearly enough to satisfy the full amount of the judgement. Will they continue to take from his account until this is completely satisfied? If so, we could lose our home..what can we do?

When you the execution was issued you received a notice of hearing or right to attend a hearing. You need to object to the execution and attend the hearing.

You can enter into a settlement with the credit card company. You can file a bankruptcy to avoid the debt entirely. You can also claim an exemption. You need an attorney versed in consumer defense practice. Feel free to contact us. 203.870.6700
