My Husband was arrested 2 years ago for a dui, now hes been called for jury duty, but the letter said if youve been convicted of a felony you dont go or something like that.

He says a dui is a felony I say its not. Could you clear this up for us.

Re: Is dui a felony?

The quick answer is that in Connecticut a first time DUI conviction is a misdemeanor. A second conviction within 10 years is a felony. However, the fact that your husband was arrested does not mean that he was convicted. For instance, those who are admitted into and successfully complete the alcohol education program do not receive a conviction.
