Custody Question

A husband and wife have been divorced for a year, with a verbally abusive ex-wife. They share custody of their two children ages 7 and 3. The ex-husband goes over the edge and attempts suicide by overdosing on pills after all of the verbal abuse in front of the children. He is in treatment. What will happen to the custody of the children and what rights does the ex-husband have?

Re: Custody Question

This is a very complicated and sensitive matter. Many more facts are needed to properly evaluate the situation and determine what rights the father has.

My best suggestion for this question is that the father/former husband should consult with an attorney.
