Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

I am going through a divorce, my boy's are 13 and 10, they have to go over to my husband's house he shares with one of his girlfreinds of the month, my boy's do not like her and her son, at what age can my oldest son speak up and it will matter? i thought it was 14? the kid's do have a therapist and tell her how they feel about going over there, i just hope her knowing things will help them if needed., his girlfreind is extremely controlling, never lets my husband spend much alone time with our children, she gets in between us trying to talk, sends me emails pretending to be my husband, and gives updates on my children to my husband's atty. via email which my atty. showed me saying what a great time they are having which is not true, and also she just emailed my atty.directly which he was not to happy about, she has cut off money i need for the kid's and jokes about it on Facebook which i have printed out, she acts as if she has ever legal right to do so.
