Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

family- custody question

The father of my two children filed a motion for joint custody of minor children, motion for visitation, and motion for support and maintenance of minor children pendente lite. I was served with the papers to appear in court the same day I was moving back to the childrens home state. I was the victim of physical abuse, and felt the safest thing for my children and I was to get as far away as we could. He then motioned for reference-family relations division, and motioned for mental or physical exam. The court then filed an application for writ of habeas corpus (he was in prison at the time) He then filed a case management agreement. The court then set an order, and there was a judgement without trial. What does this all mean? Did he get custody of the children? How can I find out what the order of the jugde was?

Re: family- custody question

I would need to see the court file and the paperwork to tell you what happened. You need to talk to a lawyer. You can always go to the court clerk's office and review the file yourself.
