Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

I gave birth to a baby boy when I was 18, I had put him up for open adoption with a wonderful family but I did not have the fathers consent, because when I asked him for his consent he first denied the child was his, then wanted a paternity test, then threatened to take the child and give him to a known drug addict who was moving out of state, the biological father was a drug dealer at that time. After being threatened with this I informed him about a month later that I miscarried, and he was not aware that the child was born. My question is in 9 years when the child turns 18 and wants to speak with me and inquires who his biological father is and I tell him the truth and the child proceeds to find his father, will there be any legal repercussions against me for not involving the father in process or can the father pursue any legal or civil action against me?

My first question is why do you assume the child will want to speak to you when he turns 18.
