Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

I got married in March 2010 to a Brazilan women who I know find out was maried to the same man in the USA and Brazil. She divorced him in the USA but is still legally married to him in Brazil. Does the USA divorce override the marriage in Brazil. or is she still mearried to this guy. Is this grounds for an annulment?

Unfortunately, the answer is not that simple. I would need a lot more facts to reach a conclusion. I'm not sure why you state that she "is still legally married to him in Brazil."

Generally, you do not have to divorce in the same country that you were married in, to be legally divorced. There are factors which need to be evaluated to determine if the USA divorce is valid.
