Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

i have sole custody with mt 2 kids and he has visitation but he has been in and out of jail for long time spands of time and i would like to move to ga from ct and i wanted to know if i would need to contact the courts for permission?

If he has an order of visitation then you would need to modify that order to allow you to move. Since you have sole custody, there is a good probability that the court will grant your motion. However, his visitation will need to be addressed.
