Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

My wife has threatened to take my son and move to Jamaica. He has no passport, and she is a green card holder can she take him? Can text messages she sent me be used against her in court. Do I have a chance of keep him? She said plainly she is doing this to hurt me. And I don�t have the resources to defined myself what do I do.

I believe she needs a notarized letter from you to take him out of the country. You should call the state department or appropriate agency that handles overseas traveling and passports, etc. You should file for a divorce or custody action immediately and obtain a court order prohibiting her from doing so.
