Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Connecticut

Our neighbor of two years built a 12 ft fence on his side of the property. He cut off all of the branches from our trees that over hung the property line. He keeps a string stung along the actual property line. He frequently hangs the string from the remaining branch of the tree. (Cut off at the property line) We had a decorative fence inside the property line that we recently moved further from the line. This entailed digging a hole on our side of the line. He told us we had till noon to fill in the hole or he would call his attorney and the police. We did not fill in the hole as he ordered. He filled it in himself. He has been video taping my husband working in our yard. Can this be considered harassment. Is there anything we can do to get this guy to leave us alone? We have teenage girls and are nervous about what this guy could do.
