Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Connecticut

Can i sue my almost ex-husband's current girlfreind for slander for posting untrue things about me on Facebook? she calls me a physcopath, and harrassing things on her wall about me, one day i followed my husband's truck trying to catch me him in a lie trying to get out of going to court, i found out it was his girlfreind in the truck instead, so i started to leave the parking lot to go home, she spotted me and chased me for a good 15 mins. around town, taking pic's of me, cutting people off to stay on my tail until a couple town workers let me down a small st. while collecting trash, i told them a crazy person is chasing me, i lost her after that, she posted my pic's, sayings, while i was the one being stalked, almost everyday she post something about how her and my husband will be getting full custody of my two boy's,etc. one good thing is she wrote how she will be hiding assets, and bookeeping for my husband to make sure i get nothing from his side business, which isn't to smart, i have all 50 pages cut and pasted, would i have a case?

First of all, you may be able to file something in the divorce action if he is a part of her rantings. Secondly, you may have a slander case against her but you have to weigh the value of your damages against the cost of the lawsuit. My best advice is to speak to a lawyer.
