Legal Question in Immigration Law in Connecticut
Contract Employment
My girlfriend is from the Phillipines, working in the US under contract as a nurse for two years. Are there any legal ramifications by the hiring agency if she were to leave that contract, and find emplyment elsewhere. She has already completed 14 months of her obligation, and plans to stay for at least another four months. Even if the Employment agency has a legal recourse, what is the likelyhood of them following through with legal action.
