divorce

i came to us in1998 from jamacia with two small infants my mom filed my papers i returned to jamacia in 2000 to marry my childrens mother i filed for us citizenship it was granted in 2005 then filed for wife to come she came in 2006 my question is i'm seeking a divorce do i have to be married a certian time to in connecticut before i can file
