Legal Question in Employment Law in Connecticut

my daughter owns a hair salon, and she just hired a new girl. The place where the girl used to work is suing my daughter,saying they stole customers! they are contesting it,but its costing them legal funds with lawyer? can this woman do this?

If there is a legitmate basis for the women to challenge your daughter servicing allege prior customers of this other person, However, the sucess of the chanllege depends on whether or not there is an enforcable exclusive agreement giving this other person who is suing your daughter rights to such customers. More than likely, this may not be the case and your daughter should have a high likelyhood of prevailing.
