Hello,
Is it legal for an employer of a financial job to require their employees to pay $250 out of pocket every month if a goal isn't reached?

More information is needed to answer this question. Generally, it is illegal in Connecticut to withhold money from an employee's paycheck without his or her written consent. It sounds like this requirement might be part of a compensation / commission plan. If so, it is necessary to review that document before answering this question.
