Legal Question in Employment Law in Connecticut

I was just laid off from my job of 16 years. In 2009, I signed a non-compete agreement. A copy of this agreement was given to me along with other exit documentation. My signature is on the page, however the document was never signed by the CEO of the company. His name is listed but there is no signature or date. Does this mean the agreement is void?

What were the circumstances of your lay off? were you offered a severance package? What specifically did the non-compete agreement say? If you were given a severance agreement, I would strongly suggest you have an attorney look at it before you sign it. Were you the only person laid off? There is an issue as to whether you may have been targeted.
