A Schedule was alreay posted

My schedule was posted on a Friday, when i came into work that next Monday, i was told by my boss i had to work a night. He change the schedule after i started my new work week. Is this legal without asking me?

Yes, your boss may do so absent an employment agreement stating otherwise. (schedule does not equal a contract).
