Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Connecticut

okay so i have a case. i was a guest in a friends home and they said if my husband paid the rent i could stay there. since am going through a devorice need a place for me and my son. how ever. my husband did not pay the rent would not. but my friend was nice even to let me stay as a guest till we worked out a rent agreement

but my husband didnt want me living there for his own reasons and started having the police over there all the time. my friend told me i could not stay if this continued. i told to my husband he said it would stop. i told my friend and said would be okay as long as it didnt happen again

well it did. and he kicked me out and told me i could get my things that night. this is after i had moved all my things in and stayed there 3 nights

i could npt get back to his place that night and so i came with the cops the next morning

and took my things and left what i couldnt take in his storage

is this fair? or do i have the right to sue him for wrongfull eviction? or for anything i say. of mine is missing

I can't blame your friend. You are lucky he/she let you stay there at all. Be practical, find another place to live and forget the whole thing.
