we had just gotten a dog to add to our family and the by-laws state that small domestic pets, excluding dogs, that can be kept indoors,are allowed provided they are not bothersome to other unit owners. I want to know if there is a way to keep the dog since they allow cats and our dog will not get any bigger then a cat. Is there a way to change to by-laws?

You would have to look at the by-laws in order to determine how you change the bylaws. If that doesn't work then you have to find another way.
