Legal Question in Personal Injury in Connecticut

Deliberate noisey nursing home employees

Despite a ''cease and desist all unecessary noise'' letter from my attorney, to a nursing home whose parking lot is in my back yard, loud and disruptive behaviour by certain employees persists. This is no small matter as loud car radios, vehicles with bad or no mufflers and very boisterous employees are disturbing me at night and very early [6A.M] in the morning, at this time. This nursing home was buillt in my back yard 7 years after my husband and I bought our home, and yet they behave as though we don't exist. Both my property and the nursing home are located in a residential zone but with no local noise ordinances, the only recourse that I've had in the past is to call on Connecticut environmental noise pollution laws. Good luck with that. And calls to the police have brought me double trouble. In light of the World Health Organization's reports on the correlation between noise pollution and the development of many diseases such as high blood pressure and heart attacks, I wonder if I can legally pursue action against this arrogant entity and /or each of these thugs that have made my life a living hell?
