foreclosure on half-equity

My wife and I are title holders on our house. credit card company won a judgement on a credit card debt strictly in her name. (prior to our marriage). foreclosure proceedings started. Can the foreclose on the whole house with both of us as title holder?

Re: foreclosure on half-equity

If you own it as joint tenants, they would obtain title to the entire property. If you own it as Tenents in Common, then they would foreclose on her half.
