More information is needed. What are you being sued for? Usually a default is entered by the plaintiff for failure to plead just prior to a default judgment being entered against you.

Given where you are at in the litigation process, to avoid the ramifications of a default judgment, it would be in your best interests to consult with an attorney.

Best of Luck!
