Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Connecticut

teacher and students

In my class,(business school) it consists of myself and 4 other females. Our male teacher, is always interjecting his lectures with sexual sometimes perverse comments, and usually has nothing really to do with discussion. Being a therapeutic massage class, we have massage exchange required in class. He was to receive massage from one of my classmates during our class exchanges. Instead of undressing to undergarments under the sheet on the table, he stood by the table, revealing his bare body with only underwear on to us all before climbing onto table under drape. We all looked away, shocked. This was the same day that he made a comment during pathology class about the length of his penis, totally irrelevant to lecture. This is one of many sexual innuendo type comments he has made in our class while teaching. Other comments have been equally as innapropriate as these, including his prefrences sexually and past experiences. Also he has kept me after class past the time he should have to discuss my grades, when everyone else had left, but he made excuses as to why I should work on my grades and make up time. I felt uncomfortable, and luckily another girl stayed with me talking. Does this sound like sexual harassament?

Re: teacher and students

If you feel he is acting inappropriately, then you should contact one of his supervisors. Maybe you can switch classes or teachers. In any event, if he says sexual comments to you or acts so that you feel uncomfortable, he may be guilty of harassment.
