Re: change of residency

To change your residency, you need to follow the laws of the state whose residency you want to claim. In this case, it is New Hampshire law (not Connecticut). In most states, having a driver's license for a certain period of time is enough.

For convenience and efficiency in enforcing your will, you should have it reviewed by a New Hampshire lawyer to determine whether you need it updated, but most likely you do. At the very least, you will want it governed by New Hampshire law, and you will want to update your information in the will.

You should probably repost your question to the NH lawyers, instead of the CT lawyers, so you can find someone to help you will your will.

Good luck!
