Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Connecticut

contest of a will

Recently my fathers cousin past away. His will names several people as his heirs but only my father and another cousin are actually still living. The other people named have all passed away. The will is being contested by 3 of the deceased--name removed--heirs. Could they win the case. The will was written in 1985.
