I am the executor of my father's estate Valued at 1.8 million in CT, what would be deemed a reasonable fee for an executor compensation?

Depends on the Probate Court, but most judges have a sort of 2 tier approach. They'll allow an hourly fee for purely administrative duties (paper shuffling, cleaning out the house), say $35 - $40 per hour. For more responsible tasks (selling the house, managing investments, going to court) maybe $75 - $95 per hour. Very important: KEEP DETAILED TIME RECORDS. We'd be happy to represent you. Our fees are usually about 1% of the gross estate.
