Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Connecticut

I guess this is more than one question regarding the same issue.

How long after death of a parent do you have to bring up non distributions from the person who was left as the executrix. Will stated all assets were to be split equally (three ways). My sister kept additional monatary value CD's without distributing to other siblings as the will stated. I stated to her numerous times that the will stated everything was divided equally. Her comment was mom wanted her to keep it, however it was not spelt out in the will.

How can I find out if my mother had other CDs that my sibling did not disclose to the rest of us (at one time I knew of three). Would I be able to get that information from her last couple years of Tax returns even though she was retired collecting Social Security? And am I allowed to ask for them under the circumstances.

Has your mother's estate been submitted to probate? There are various legal remidies and regulations that apply through the probate process that would give you the accountability u are loohing for. I would also suggest legal counsel. William J. Lasko Attorney. 203 3296602
