purjury in probatecourt

my brother-in-law made false statements when he filed for a temporary conservator for my husband who is mentally ill. Can i get him for purjury?

Was he appointed temporary conservator as a result of those false statements? Did you object to his appointment?

If yes to both questions above, then, if you can prove that the statements are false, you may be able to change the outcome.
