Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Delaware

Tenant issue

I live in an apartment w/husband he is the leaser and I am just the occupant....the landlord wants to run my credit history and backfround check and pay $35.00 for it, can they obligate me to do that so i can live there???? we're already living there for more than 6 months....

So what happens if your H leaves town or dies? LL is stuck with you, so they are entitled to check on your credit and background. The LL could require all adults to be on lease.
