Legal Question in Disability Law in District of Columbia

I was injured while on the job. The accident occurred in Atlanta. I was on business travel. I am not receiving compensation equal to my salary. I have expenses associated with transportation and I live in an apt versus my home. I need legal advice on how I can be compensated according to my salary.

I lost my home, my vehicles and my lifestyle due to this accident. I have been diagnosed with permanent memory loss and I am unable to work. Is there anything I can do to increase my compensation?

I'm sorry about your accident -- it sounds like a life changing event. The answer to your question depends on various factors that you should IMMEDIATELY discuss with an attorney. For instance, did you accept workers' compensation as a result of your injury? Were you at fault? Were you drinking or under the influence of drugs at the time of the accident? Was a police report issued --- does it assign blame/fault for the accident? There's simply too many "what if" questions to address in type of forum.

Best of luck.******The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.********
