One need not resort to special codifications of law or other reference resources to discern the meaning of "natural born citizen"as used in Article 2 of the U.S. Constitution, the plain meaning of which is simply what it suggests, namely, a citizen who at the time of his or her birth was a citizen of the United States as opposed to a naturalized citizen who by definition is necessarily someone who when born had to have been a citizen/resident of some other foreign country/jurisdiction.
