One product, the Infant Seat Protector is marketed as the safest car seat for sale in the United States. However, it has come to the CEO's attention that there is growing concern that the Infant Seat protector may not be as safe as the company claims. The CEO emails the engineering department and asks if they have any information and/or research on the safety of the Infant Seat Protector. They email him back a report dated May 1999 that the Infant seat protector has a design flaw that could lead to serious injuries if a new latch is not installed.

The CEO decides not to act upon this information until after the holiday selling season. When the selling season is finished he intends to have the company issue a comprehensive product recall. During the holiday selling season two babies are killed when the latch on the Infant Seat protector fails.

Discuss and decide all civil and criminal charges that might be alleged against the company and the CEO
